A calculus measuring approximately 8 mm was identified at the UV junction. The ureter was mildly dilated proximal to the stone. Ureteroscopy was performed under direct vision. Stone fragmentation achieved with holmium laser at 0.8 J and 15 Hz settings. All fragments were cleared under vision. Haemostasis confirmed. Double-J stent inserted under fluoroscopic guidance. Patient tolerated the procedure well.
